Is it so hard to make a bed? Kid or not, if you are going to sell your house and take pictures of it, at least make the darn bed!
208 1st, Keystone, SD – $299,900
I know why I don’t like houses with vines all over them, besides the thoughts of all kinds of bugs and stuff. Because I’m reminded of kudzu. Here in the south, you cannot even walk down the road with seeing kudzu take over trees, houses, cars. Seriously, I bet you could lay down near a patch of kudzu for a nap and you’ll wake up entangled in the stuff, it grows that fast. Although this isn’t kudzu that entangles this home, it is Woodbine Vines, still I just could not see myself living in a place that looks something out of a Stephen King story.
Back to this house. This was one of the first houses in Keystone built for Henry Loomis, a blacksmith. It also was the Goodyear Hotel and boarding house for some of the Mt. Rushmore workers in the 1930’s. 7 bed, 5 bath, 3449 square feet.
518 N Egan Ave, Madison, SD – $134,900 $129,900
6 bed, 5 bath, 2820 square feet. I think each level is an apartment but don’t let that stop you from giving the whole thing a little bit of luvin’. I admit, the exterior is more charming than the interior, but wouldn’t have to be that way forever.
