125 Roberts Lake Rd, Ball Ground, GA – $549,000
5 Bed, 2.5 Bath, 3136 square feet. Aerial view available. I swear this house has been listed for a couple of years at least. Just a hop and a skip away from ‘my’ house. This one is known as the McClure-Hill House. Wish I could say I was impressed but this is not my most favorite house in Ball Ground.

185 A W Roberts Dr, Ball Ground, GA – $99,900
4 beds, 2.5 baths, 2,272 square feet. Another house in the nearby town of Ball Ground. Remember my favorite that I almost had a nervous breakdown over (that I believe has already sold)? This one is about a mile away (and only 2 houses over from a house I lived in as a teenager.) I remember walking by this house everyday on my way to catch the bus for school and drooling over the wrap around porch and the gables. A foreclosure, what is going on with my favorite houses being foreclosed on?! Check out the street view here. This one is on the corner of the main intersection, facing downtown so I have a feeling this one will go faster than you can say ‘old house.’
- I remember back in my teenage days it didn’t look near this nice. It was shortly after we moved from Ball Ground that it was renovated to look this cute.
- And the view from the front porch over looking downtown Ball Ground. When I was a teen, I remember walking around downtown, they had a soda machine near the post office and me and my little sister loved to get a chocolate drink whenever we had some change.
- I speculated this one had higher ceilings. I think I built up in my mind what it really looked like inside, and this isn’t exactly how I pictured it.
510 Gilmer Ferry Rd, Ball Ground, GA – $94,900
4 bed, 4 bath, 3136 square feet. This is a new old post. Not really sure what is going on with this one as I found it sold in 9/09 for $187,000. Now it is back on the market as a foreclosure. Did they really lose the house that fast? I remember as a kid seeing this house and thinking it was the prettiest house in Ball Ground and wishing I could live in a house like it. I’m freaking out right now people! Unfortunately, there is no way for me to buy this pretty little lady (plus it would be way to big for just two people and a dog) or else I would be on the door step of the listing office right now with cash, because only I could love this house like it should be loved, right? If not me, surely one of you guys (or gals) wants to move to Ball Ground? Buy this house so I can at least come visit it you. And look, a couple of interior pics! Looks like the kitchen has a tin ceiling. Mommmmmmmmmmmm!!! Don’t you want to sell your house and move back to Georgia?
Check out the street view here. This house has been vacant for a very long time.

23 Attaway Dr, Cartersville, GA – $599,900
5 bed, 5 bath, 4211 square feet.
- Pretty!
- I think this is the garage. No aerial view so hard to say what is what.
- In the cupola over the garage (I think the garage.)
- I absolutely hate the wallpaper. Otherwise this is a huge dining room!
- Pretty standard kitchen, but I love all the cabinet space (ugh, I hate the word space.)
- I so want a sunroom one day!
- Ding! Yes, an elevator.
- The library. Fabulous! And interesting.
