1 Main St, Oxford, AL – $84,900
4 Bed, 3 Bath, 1.88 acres. Just realized this house is in Oxford, I think my sister lives in Oxford. Crime in Oxford use to be double the national average, but the last few years, crime has gone down to just over the national average. Check out the street view here, I wonder what kind of neighborhood this is. Check out the aerial view, I wonder what buildings/area is next door, buildings were there in the Google aerial view (not the street view though.) This is a foreclosure, so no interior pics. Looks like a cute house from the exterior, I love the fence too!

500 Springfield Ave, Eutaw, AL – $164,900 $179,950
4 beds, 4 baths, 4,000 square feet on 2.5 acres. Known as the Wilkes Banks House, it is listed on the National Register. Does anyone live in or near Eutaw, Alabama? If you do, do me a favor and drive over to this house to take a bunch of interior pics! Please!!
I found this site that also shows houses around the same county this house is in. Very cool houses, I’ll have to take a trip to this county one day.
3/10/10 Edit: I know, I know, I brought this one back from the dead from Oct. ‘09. It went off market for a while and now is back on at a slightly higher price. Found a couple of interior pics, but not enough! Agh!
417 Lapsley, Selma, AL – $60,000
5 bed, 2.5 bath, 4200 square feet. What a fantastic house! Has a ton of potential. “Hardwood floors; antique chandeliers; pine beams lining ceiling in dining/great room; sun porch.” Too bad Selma has so much crime. Check out the street view here.
- I think the columns are fantastic! Maybe it is just me though, but the roofs edge looks a little warped.
- Beautiful lighting in this home.
- I am in love with the light in this room. Speaking of light, looks like the house is a bit dark and dreary.
